Across rural villages of Gaya, Bihar, many talented and hardworking young people dream of building a better life. They study as far as they can, often completing Class 10 or Class 12 despite financial hardship.
But after school, another difficult reality begins.
For families struggling to afford food, healthcare, and everyday necessities, continuing education or paying for professional training can seem impossible. As a result, many young people leave their studies and begin working as daily-wage laborers to support themselves and their families.
SSF believes that poverty should not decide a young person's future.
Through this campaign, Selfless Service Foundation is working to provide free practical skill training to underprivileged rural youth in Gaya, Bihar.
