Education can change a child's future, but for many children living in the villages of Gaya, Bihar, even basic educational supplies remain out of reach.
Many children come from families where parents work as daily-wage labourers and struggle to meet their family's basic needs. Some children have lost one or both parents and have very limited financial support. For these children, purchasing school bags, notebooks, stationery, writing materials and other essential educational equipment can become a major challenge.
As a result, poverty can create barriers that make it difficult for children to attend school regularly and participate fully in their education.
The Selfless Service Foundation team is working directly with communities in rural areas of Gaya to identify children who need educational support.
Our team visits villages, communicates with families and identifies children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We then provide essential educational materials to help children continue their schooling.
Our objective is simple:
No child should be forced to give up education simply because their family cannot afford basic school supplies.
Through this campaign, we want to reach more children across the villages of Gaya and provide them with the educational equipment they need to learn, grow and build a better future.
